The Upper Room, a Family Resource Center, announces that it will resume offering the Evolve Program, a weekly group designed to provide young women a place to come and talk, learn from one another, be connected with peers in a safe setting. This program offers participants a place to discuss the trends of adolescence, the strategies to help them navigate challenges and lead a life of wellness through discussion, activity and creativity. “We are excited to be able to offer a continuum of options for our young women in a way that promotes their self-worth, and success.” Shares Brenda Guggisberg Executive Director of The Upper Room. “Weekly opportunities to touch base with a skilled facilitator, who brings a host of amazing topic focused and open-ended idea starters will offer attendees a rich experience of connection.”
Evolve will re-start October 28th, and will run Mondays 3 – 4 PM. Topics will range from sharing feelings, dealing with conflict, finding your inner voice, relationships with friends and family, and many other topics that impact young women today.
This program is FREE, and open to any young woman 13 – 18. Information and registration for the program can be done by calling Jillian Walulik at 603-437-8477 x 17.
