~ The Upper Room benefits from a “good neighbor”, Susan Ochoa. ~


Susan Ochoa donates her award to The Upper Room:
Derry, NH, June 10, 2019

The Upper Room, a Family Resource Center, was gifted the “Good neighbor award” as a donation from Susan Ochoa, a Remax Employee, who received the award from the New Hampshire Board of Realtors event June 6, 2019 at Birch Wood Vineyard in Derry.      

Susan has been a champion of The Upper Room, involving herself and her business with coat drives at the holidays, diaper drives for our teen parenting program and recently named us the recipient of her award. Ochoa states, "Don't wait for somebody else do to something. Go out and do it yourself. “ and she for one has done a lot of good work supporting The Upper Room and many of it’s causes. “We are so fortunate to have the support of community members like Susan”, shares Executive Director Brenda Guggisberg. “The direct support, and positive energy that surrounds these activities is just exciting. It brings others attention to the work we do, and hopefully, for those who may not know what we do, provides a place for them to turn if ever they have questions”.       

Sharing in the event, was Shelly Koza who coordinates events and marketing for The Upper Room. Shelly attended the Birch Wood Event to receive the award from Ochoa.
