Serving individuals, families and our community through our mission, The Upper Room will improve the lives of families, and children by:
Strengthening individuals and families by providing them with the education, services and resources needed, to live healthy, self-sufficient lives.
Celebrating families for 30 years in 2016!
We at TUR have many reasons to be grateful: in December we'll be sharing 30 of them:
December 11: To our neighbors on Tsienneto Road who watch out for us and help us out!
December 10: We are so grateful for the hundreds of loyal donors who stop by with food, backpacks, baby items and gift cards to help our families. On Thursday afternoon, 2 beautiful little boys, ages 5 and 6, came in with their parents. The boys donated new blankets that they had bought with their own money, gift wrapped to provide warmth to others for Christmas. Our donors are the BEST!
December 9: We are very grateful for the continued support from the Alexander Eastman Foundation!
December 8: We are grateful to Hannaford Supermarkets for providing us an opportunity to teach students and adults how to make the most of their shopping dollars!
December 7: Grateful for the support of and partnership with the Derry School District!
December 6: We at TUR are grateful for the support of Bank of America!
December 5: We are thankful for WBIN-TV for being an amazing sponsor and supporter.
December 4: Grateful to have the respect of students and the support of parents in our programs.
December 3: We are grateful to the 59 friends and supporters who funded a family at this year’s Family Matters Auction!
December 2: We are grateful for our Fire Departments in Derry and Salem who provide us with CPR training and Narcan training to better serve our towns.
December 1: Grateful to be nestled in a caring and helpful community!
