“The Upper Room has 90 plus volunteers who take the work seriously. They run our food pantries, donate time to fundraisers, offer childcare to programs, offer mentoring and support to adolescents , provide administrative support, building maintenance, and make up a stellar board of directors. Without this support, our agency would lack the ability to run as efficiently as we do, it is a pleasure to be honored with the gifts that the above mentioned volunteers have given to us this year, and to all who give to us year round”, shares Brenda Guggisberg, Executive Director. “Non-profits rely on multiple sources to get the work done, and Volunteer NH Spirit Awards offers an evening each year for those agencies to recognize and celebrate the gifts of those who donate hundreds and thousands of hours to better the lives of communities in NH”.
