~ The Upper Room Announces Co-Parenting Classes ~
The Upper Room, a Family Resource Center, is announcing the co-parenting class: “Crossroads of Parenting & Divorce” offered March 2, 9 and 16th at 36 Tsienneto Road in Derry.
This 5 part series is designed to address concerns and questions that separating and divorcing parents have, and explore how to keep the focus on the needs of their children. Using a mix of video content and group discussion, parents are encouraged to be aware of how their actions may impact their children. Attendees stay child-focused, and discuss ways to make good choices in an environment of conflict and loss during divorce and separation.
Brenda Guggisberg, Executive Director of The Upper Room, explains that “As a Family Resource Center, our goal is to support families and children through educational resources and support which will help them live healthy lives, by helping separated and divorced parents be effective co-parents helps us meet our mission. We are committed to offering evidence-based programs, that improve relationships within families, and this series does just that.”
