UR Parents Support Group
A weekly parents support group for parents of teenagers. UR Parents is offered through the Greater Derry Juvenile Diversion Program. Empower yourself to learn more about your teenager!
Discussion, information and support for parents who face the challenges of raising teens in today’s society.
Meetings are held every *Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Upper Room, A Family Resource Center. Please call Diane at 432-8882 for more information. Bring questions and concerns about your teen to this weekly discussion group.
Various topics include:
- Lack of motivation
- school related issues
- defiant teen behaviors
- issues surrounding divorce
- trust issues, coping with anger
- family separation
- teen safety
- lying
- teen sexuality
