1. UR Parents Support Group Facilitator
Supervisor:
Adolescent Wellness Program Coordinator
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in related field, 1 year group facilitation experience and pass a criminal background check.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to be organized and prepare workshop
Employment Status:
Non-exempt, Part Time
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate weekly one hour support groups with parents of teens.
- Prepare all required materials to effectively facilitate UR Parents Support Group.
- Set up space, prepare for group, including attendance and registration forms, refreshments, reading materials, copies, etc.
- Turn in completed attendance, registration forms and group summary sheets to the coordinator on a weekly basis.
- Develop and implement a one hour presentation on specific topics for one group each month.
- Notify AWP Coordinator of these specific topics in timely manner for advertising purposes, at least two to four weeks in advance.
- Cleanup after group ends at 7:30 and follow building lock up procedures.
- Maintain contact with AWP Coordinator as necessary to effectively coordinate services for clients.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
- Participate in outreach and advertising of the program and agency
- Work collaboratively in all aspects of the program and age i.e. community partners, agency events, grant writing etc.
- Serve as an agency representative at community events i.e. open houses, fairs etc.
- Be familiar with and follow policies in the Employee and Volunteer Handbook.
- Be familiar with and follow policies in the Emergency Preparedness Manual.
- Be familiar with the safety program, forms and procedures.
- Set yearly program goals.
- Attend The Upper Room Team Meetings, supervision meetings, All Staff Training Day and community meetings.
- Maintain certifications and trainings as required.
- Follows Guidelines for Common Space Use.
- Conducts oneself in professional manner.
2. Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Supervisor:
Executive Director
Minimum Requirements:
A Master’s degree in mental health counseling.
Qualifications:
Current registration and licensure in New Hampshire; a minimum of 1-3 years experience in individual and group counseling.
Employment Status:
Non-exempt, adjunct position 1-3 hrs. per week
Responsibilities:
The Licensed Mental health Counselor will provide clinical supervision for direct service staff in individual and group settings, as well as provide weekly supervision to staff working towards licensure.
- Practitioner of evidence based practices or must be willing to learn
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Illness Management and Recovery
- Motivational Interviewing
- Be aware of and adhere to HIPAA rules and regulations and must be an active participant in safety measures for ensuring confidentiality of information as it relates to clients and this agency.
- Resourcefulness, flexibility and integrity
- Ability to function in a team oriented environment
- Attention to detail
- Multilingual encouraged
